BIOGRAPHY



Harthur Dicrayon, Byname Artur Neto, was born in the small, peaceful and religious Brazilian town of Vazante, in the State of Minas Gerais, on September 16, 1969. Son of Mario Moreira dos Santos and Maria das Dores Moreira, Dicrayon lived his entire childhood and adolescence with his family, surrounded by mountainous landscapes and the nature of the Brazilian cerrado. Despite his very simple background, he finished high school in 1987. In that same year, Harthur Dicrayon took his first steps toward visual arts participating in various exhibitions in his home town and in the nearby cities. His art was improved with the trips he made through the historic cities of Minas Gerais. Later, when he got to know Europe and Argentina, Dicrayon came into contact with the works of the great masters of painting and sculpture and was strongly impacted. Today, his works, whether in painting or sculpture, are executed with refined technique, making unlimited use of experimentation and vibrant colors, which always provoke a strong impact, evoking at the same time beauty, restlessness, sensitivity and spirituality. Harthur Dicrayon's surrealist painting rejects the logical conceptions of the spirit, and arises entirely from his subconsciousness to the definitive liberation of the artist.

Elemento Aire

Myth and Perpetuity.

Arthur's painting, like a powerful voice, vitally exposes the expressiveness of art and calls us to contemplation. Color as a generator of forms has made a profound effort to organize itself in such a way that it elevates the symbolic magnitude in his work. Its special balance, the disturbing chromatic tension and the dreamlike nature of the images, make his painting a genuine and characteristic version of contemporary surrealism. I cannot see the causes that lead Harthur to propose widely significant pictorial scenarios, but I can glimpse that his Brazilian identity manifests itself leafy and open, as a substantial and refined aspect in his actions. Like a vector that is born inside and advances with its impressions, emotions and concepts, all of them concordant, giving character and presence to the work. The creative figuration that appears in works like "Elemento Aire" introduces us to an atmosphere of myth and perpetuity, powerfully stimulating our sensitivity but with a hint of remote recumbent serenity. In front of his paintings, (I have really experienced it when showing one to a colleague), one remains instinctively still and thinking, and this happens because the force transmitted by the image is overwhelming, as if the message, in addition to entering through the eyes and mind, penetrated through the skin of the viewer..

El Enigma De La Vida

The Harthurian alchemical maelstrom, to give a name to the creative fury of this great painter, once again, and not yet recovered from the masterful sinful saga that convulsed us and kept us in that state until now, surprises us again with its once again instinctive and overflowing alchemy. Transforming us in this way, into privileged victims, almost harlequins, of a fantastic vision that is imposed on us, that compulsively invades us until it melts into ecstasy within us, until we become true accomplices of a universe of color sweated to the limits of emotion, intoxicating us with art. This new color that 'The Enigma...' gives us, because there is no one that is the other, because they are all different, carries once again the mystery, the spell of life, the magical intrigue of evolution.Just as they have been able to tell us so well the imprints of the previous paintings. Those apotheotic works that we had the pleasure or privilege of seeing or possessing. Today I feel that the enigma has been proposed one step further. There is a moment in the relationship with the work in which we are literally absorbed by the upward spiral dynamic that these fantastic, beautiful animals really create: this trilogy of butterflies plagued by the perfection of the number they make up and the celestial vault that is calling them. And they carry us, they gently drag us, they irremediably absorb us to nourish themselves and flow beyond the limits of the painting, and we with them. Magic, truly the magic of ink passes through our soul and we cannot remain but ecstatic, faced with the sensation of life that permeates us. Halfway through the spiral of life, a coded message on the wing of a butterfly magnetizes us with its perfect aesthetics. Its mysterious content is balanced in a totally harmonious symbiosis with the author's signature on the other wing. What are you telling us Harthur with this, your last installment? What do you want to tell us? In what unknown place of the ether do you want us to pour our being, also unknown to ourselves? Where do you want to take us? Is there a new paradigm that is waiting for us? The mystery makes us easy prey from your work. The depth, the agony and the light invade us at the same time. The only thing missing is the siren song for total intoxication. Which surely won't take long to appear. We are faced with ourselves in a calm and attractive way. The spiral continues to narcotize us while elevating us. The genesis of everything is confused with the beliefs of a lifetime on an unusual journey. And we, surrendered, compulsively plundered by the magnitude of the beauty and the flavor of the primitive, of the original, from the bottom of our hearts, we want the journey to never end, that the cocoons are perennial, and that the butterflies, that the butterflies never die.
